About the Centre

The Centre technologique en aérospatiale (CTA) is a Technology Access Centre (TAC) and a College Centre for Technology Transfer (CCTT) affiliated with the École nationale d’aérotechnique (ÉNA) of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. Since 1993, the CTA has supported the Quebec, Canadian, and international aerospace industry by providing concrete assistance in innovation, technological development, and applied research.

With a team of more than 60 experts from industry, academia, and research, the CTA positions itself as a strategic partner of choice for companies ranging from SMEs to major OEMs. It helps reduce risks associated with adopting new technologies, optimize processes, increase productivity, improve quality, and accelerate the commercialization of innovative solutions.

Located in the heart of the Longueuil airport zone on the South Shore of Montreal, the CTA benefits from unique access to experimental platforms, a large fleet of specialized equipment, and a flight test bench, enabling validation, testing, and transformation of concepts into high-value industrial solutions.

In recent years, its activities in industrial R&D, collaborative innovation, and technology transfer have experienced sustained growth, strengthening its key role within the aerospace ecosystem.
